NCL Star - Mini Suites

We were looking to book a mini on the Star but see they are situated below the pool deck (midship). Can anyone tell us how noisy it is there, last thing we want is to pay the extra and here dragging of chairs and running all day and night.

We had a mini and did not notice noise. Enjoy.

My parents had a mini suite on the Star on our April cruise. They said they never heard any noise from above. We were on the same floor in a balcony and we could occasionally hear chairs moving, so I assume we were situated under the buffet. It was not anything that really bothered us though. We were both on the 11th floor.

I was in a mini suite directly below the pool deck on the Dawn. (sister ship to the Star.). Never heard a thing from above! In fact, I have never heard anything from above on any NCL ship that I have been on.

 

(the noise came from the guy down the hall who was loud all the time!).

We have been in a mini on the Star (11176) and the Pearl (11124), and have not heard any noises either.

We never heard a peep from upstairs. Using the stairs up to the library and buffet was a plus for us. Have fun!
