Escape to the Med

Going on 30th August - not long now !!!!!!! Can anyone give any tips etc. on the different excursions available please? Does Island Escape berth in walking distance of Les Rambles, Barcelona ?? Thanks

Escape to Las Ramblas = 10 mins walk.

 

 

I'm sure someone will give a better breakdwon on the tours.

Only trip we did was "Sorrento on your own". Great for us as we're not into "following the crowd". Lovely place.

Not a lot to do in Trapani. Open top bus at the port took 45 mins. Then just had a walk around.

Sardinia - Shuttle bus from the ship to the main street. Lots of shop's / restuarants, but not much else.

Toulon - Lovely place. Beautiful marina. Market and shops. Lovely beach. We did hop on / off mini train from the port.

If we did escape to the med again would def do trips in Sardinia and Sicilly. Toulon and Barcelona - loads to do by yourself.

Two years ago there was a bus that took us from the ship to the start of Las Ramblas, I can't remember the fare but it wasn't very much. it took about 5 minutes.

Toulon... We went on the excursion to Cassis from here, a beautiful ancient fishing village much loved by Artist including Sir Winston Churchill. I really enjoyed this trip and would recommend it to anyone.
