Hi - I was posting about the Royal tots nursery and crazily enough from the replys am now really considering taking my 2 and 4 year old sons on NCL instead. We are thinking about the Gem from New York next year and was just wondering if anyone had any info particularly related to young kids, ie kids clubs, best rooms, places kids can eat, how are the pools any kid entertainment. Thanks any info would be great before we "jump ship" from RCI to NCL

I know you probably don't want to wait but I will be on Gem on October 2nd and I can guarantee that I will have every inch of the ship posted in pictures when I return. ;)

If you can't wait, then some of the kids pages are here...

There is a kids buffet on Gem.

And a big twister slide on the ship. And a smaller slide for small tots. And a bowling alley. And Wii on a big double deck.

There is one buffet that's open 24 hours (from what I understand). And you can get ice cream (for no charge) at another place.
