Kids club open while in port?

we have been on other ships where the kids club was open while in port so if we wanted to do an excurtions with out the kids we could. Thanks in advance:D

I just looked at my Epic teen club schedule and the teen club was NOT open on port days. On port days it opened at 5:00 each day. I'm not sure if this is the same for the younger kids.

It's open, but you have to pay. See the 10-12 and 2-5 schedules in the link in my signature.

The only option available in port is paid babysitting. $ per hour per child.

I concur with the other posters. During times in port, they offer Group Babysitting in the Kids Club area. I also believe that there are not specific age groupings like during regular kids club. Just one big group.

 

When my sister in law inquired about it a few years ago, it was so much per hour per child.

 

If you have children who are not potty trained, then you cannot leave them in babysitting while you go ashore as the beepers for diaper changing do not reach off the ship. (Kids Club staff never change diapers.)

What does the ship do if the parents don't make it in time to re-board? Taking the kids with them doesn't seem right, but neither does leaving them with authorities in a foreign country.

Yes, it´s open but it´s 6$ per hour (4$ for brothers/sisters). It´s called "Port Play".

thanks for feed back. we have never paid before:eek: so I will need to rethink excursions. good to know now.:D
