Library on Allure/Oasis

Are the bookshelves locked, so you can only borrow books when an attendant is present? On other RCI ships that I've been on, the shelves are open, and you borrow books based on the honor system. However, I saw photos in a review in which it appeared that the books are locked up on Allure.

 

Also, is there a book exchange shelf or area where you can leave paperbacks after you read them, and/or pick up a paperback that a previous cruiser left behind?
