Hi we just got back from our first trip to Alaska on the Coral and it was a dream come true in every way. To answer you question most men do not wear a tux just suites and some not even that. If you have any other questions just let me know and I will try and answer.

I'll second what DMC says. Not a high percentage of Tux's on our 2010 AK cruise. Suits were abundant as were dark blazers/slacks. This was probably one of the more dressed-down cruises we have been on. Not sloppy but just fewer tuxedos & sequins.

My experience over the past couple of years is that it is about 25%+/- in tuxes or dinner jackets. The balance in suits and a smattering of blazers and sport jackets.

We were on the Coral in June and I'd say 10-15% maybe.
