Any updates on the Splendor fire?

What's the latest on the fire that happened on the Carnival Splendor last year?

I was searching the NTSB accident report site but could not find anything yet. Could be that they are still "investigating."

 

Any updates? Why did it lose power completely? Design error?

considering all of the different company's that need to investigate the issue. I think it wont be until some time next year before an official report gets released

The Splendor is registered in Panama so any report would be coming from that country, not the US. The NTSB and Coast Guard did assist in the investigation but it's up to the Panamanians to release the information.
