Hi,

A few questions regarding Celebrity Summit - going to Bermuda -

How is room 6047?

Can we bring 2 bottles of wine per person? or per cabin?

We're planning to bring a Brita pitcher and wondered is the fridge will hold the pitcher?

Any other advice would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Just came back from the Summit on July 3rd and stayed in cabin 6131 and had a wonderful time. Not sure what cabin 6047 is like.

The wine allowance is one bottle per person in the cabin. The fridge is a mini bar fridge so I'm thinking that a Brita will not fit in the fridge. :(

Celebrity allows two bottles of winer per cabin. If brought to the dining room, you will be charged a $25 corkage fee.

I don't think there would be enough room for a Brita pitcher.

Water on the ship is filtered

no need for the Britta

Yes it is filtered at the point of desalination but not at the tap. On a few cruises I would take a clean white wash cloth and place it in the sink under the tap with the water slowly running. Returning in 15-20 minutes the center of the cloth was yellow and also contained iron and calcium deposits,

I still drink the water but i like to know what I am consuming.:D

We just returned 7/24. Cabin 6050 was fine (a 2B balcony). We never tried taking the shelves out of the frig- if you can do so, then a pitcher would fit. I suggest either buying the water package (Pelligrino, Evian or Crystal Geyser are the brands I saw) or just using the water from the buffet (which goes through an extra filtration process from the tap water in the cabin). Although the tap water is safe- just warm!

Although the official rule is two bottles (wine or champagne) per cabin, many in our group brought two bottles each.
