Dawn - question re in-room safe

Do the in-room safes swipe a credit card or are they 'set your own' code? It's been a few years, but I remember them as 'set your own' but I thought I saw someplace that they use the credit-card-swipe type safes now (which would be a little annoying, because I want my credit cards IN the safe! :) ) I guess I could bring a used up store gift card if it's a swipe...

set your own code..but a word of advice..don't use your cabin number as your code..easy for someone to figure out..
