Casino Comp Drink Cards ?

I was told by the Casino Marketing people when I booked my EPIC Cruise, That my stateroom upon arrival would also have my Comp Drinks Cards for my wife and I to use anytime we are playing in the Casino. What are other peoples experience with these cards ? My wife is NOT a big gambler and might play the penny slots for a bit, But they said that due to MY PLAY she will be getting a card to.. Just wondering what other experiences have been with these cards ? Is it like Vegas used to be and just tip the waitress a $1 for every drink and they will keep them coming no matter how little action you give the Casino ? Thanks for your replys.:)

Yes, tip the servers and they will keep bringing the drinks in the casino. You can also use the bar in the casino. It does not work for drinks outside of the casino (although the host can pick up these and other charges based on your play).

I have even taken my free drink card to the casino bar, sat down, not put any money into the video poker machine, and watched a game on TV. All the while receiving my free drinks. I will say that sometimes they filled out a form for my drink in the casino and some times they don't. I never really understood this last year on the Jewel and Dawn, but we were never charged anything.

I booked through Harrah's and there were three drink cards and CAS players cards in the cabin when we arrived. I traveled with my sis and BIL. You can go to the casino bar and order your drinks. Sometimes we might stay and play a little. Other times we would just take our drinks back to our balcony and enjoy. We aren't big drinkers, but it was nice after dinner. You can get the DOD with your drink card, just not in a souvenier (sp?) glass. You will also get treats throughout the week. There were cookies waiting for us in our room and a plate of chocolates were delivered twice later in the week. Enjoy!
