Hi RR

What's the diference between the Beachcomber and the Island Restaurants? I know both self-service but Jan said Beachcomber had plastic plates and cups. I've probably read the difference somewhere but you know everything.:D

Hi Jan

Island is a buffet but dressed like a restaurant with tablecloths and place settings with cloth napkins. The waiters will get you drinks but we just had water, then coffee after. They also show you to your table on arrival. Very few tables for 2 so if you want one go to the right hand side entrance, which is always quieter, around 6.20pm.:)

Hi Jan

Thanks for info re island Restaurant. Perhaps if I read the brochure like I do with Thomson's I would find out all I need to know. I'm so used to T's set up that my brain has taken on a different outlook to IE but when I see the replies and look at the brochure, it is virtually identical in its running of all eateries/bars/entertainment etc. Doh:o
