smoosh21 Posted March 28, 2005 #1 Share Posted March 28, 2005 Since HAL uses local time in ports, when do they 'shift' to the next ports time zone? I am specifically asking for the Oosterdam Mexico Cruise which will go from Pacific to Mountain to Central and back again. After leaving Puerto Vallarta, does this ship go back to Pacific time, or does that change wait until we pull into San Diego Harbor?

The following night you will change another hour. Shipboard time on HAL is always equivalent to the "local" time - even when you're "at sea." RuthC Posted March 28, 2005 #3 Share Posted March 28, 2005 On all of my cruises the clocks have been changed at 2:00 A.M. as we headed to the next time zone. When I crossed the International Date Line I managed to acquire a bar bill for a date that did not exist!
hbogart Posted March 28, 2005 #4 Share Posted March 28, 2005 interesting, but I bet you still had to pay for that bar bill!!!
