FOS Promenade room questions

We are looking at booking 2 promenade staterooms on FOS in April. Have a few questions...1st..how noisy are they and which deck has a better view of the parade. 2nd..Are there mini fridges in the room? And last..has anyone had connecting rooms?

Thanks for any and all input

We had a promenade room on the Voyager...7th deck and it was pretty quiet. I would think that you may get a lot of echo on the 8th deck, and possibly noise from the shops on the 6th. View of the parade was also good from the 7th deck, but that would depend on the location of the cabin. I do believe that there are fridges as well.

We had a promanade room on deck 8 which is the top and you look down on everything. Loved the room as it felt larger. It was very quiet but I think that deck 7 would be perfect for viewing the parade. Just remember to shut the curtains before coming out of the bathroom  as you see across very well.

We had connecting promenade rooms on Deck 8- Freedom of The Seas in June. We loved them...had no issues with noise outside of the parades, etc. The best view for parades may be 6th or 7th, however the windows on the 8th floor are angled outward more to allow for viewing. YOu will not be disappointed...good room for price!

Lepeep: We are sailing FOS thanksgiving week and are in connecting promenade staterooms 8311 and 8313; wonder if that was your staterooms too. Glad you enjoyed yours; can't wait!

We had connecting promanade cabins on deck 7 on FOS and loved them. We left the connecting door open during the day so it was like one big room with TWO bathrooms!! Noise was not an issue at all. The view would depend where on 7 you were. We overlooked the very end of the promanade but someone else in our group was further down the corrider and had a much better view of the parade. As someone else mentioned -- you must keep your curtins closed when changing, etc. or the people across from you will have a nice show

We had 7291 and 7293 on Freedom last year. We had a great view of the parades and there was a bridge to the left of our window that the crew dances on so we had a great view of that as well. The only time there was any noise to speak of was during the parades and parties. We thoroughly enjoyed these connecting cabins and are sailing in the same type rooms on the same floor next time.
