Need some help in getting to Port Everglade from South Beach in Miami. Is it better taking a shuttle from the Hotel. We are new to the Cruising game and dont like the idea of driving from Miami. Are shuttle buses easy to get and what would the cost be for 2 people. Also need transfer from the Miami Airport to Hotel in South Beach. Is it far or are we better taking taxi to the Hotel.

ALL HELP GRATEFULL

:confused::confused::confused:

From MIA to a South Beach hotel your best bet is a taxi for about $32+tip. (that's for the cab, not per person ;))

From South Beach to Port Everglades you should check with shuttle services based at FLL such as SAS (www.ridesas.com) QLS and others - typical fare is about $15+ per person for the 30-45 minute ride. A taxi on the same route will cost you about $85+ :eek:

To get back to MIA from Port Everglades after your cruise the ship's transfer bus is a good option. Good luck! :)

QLS www.qualitylimoservice.com is an option - there are other FLL based shuttle operators; Google is your friend. :rolleyes:

Larry's Limos has been suggested often on these boards for Miami service; fare is usually a little less than in a taxi, and the ride will be much nicer. You should also call your SB hotel to see what they suggest. ;)

Good luck! :)
