John Heald posted on FB that the Conquest will be late tomorrow due to rough seas from TS Lee - I'm guessing that's the reason the Ecstacy was late this morning which probably also delayed it's departure this afternoon. The tug could be due to high winds in Galveston bay??

Yeah, I'm looking at the Seawolf Park webcam and the trees are really being blown from the NE so I think the tug is to help the Ecstacy navigate against the winds. I noticed that about a week ago in Port Canaveral where they had tugs escorting the cruise ships out of the harbor due to high winds from Irene.
