We are sailing in Grandeur on the Seas on 25 September:D, we have one or questions, first are there kettles in the cabins. Second question has anyone brought the $49 drinks package, was it worth the money. DS thinks he will buy one, DH don't think we will drink enough. We are in different cabin so this will not be a trouble, what are your thoughts ::eek:

There aren't kettles in the rooms, but you can get hot water 24 hours at the cafe promenade.

The drink package is worth it if all you drink is soda, if you don't mind it from the fountain instead of a can, and if you don't have too many days in port. Remember that the price is per person and a 15% gratuity is added to the price , so it's really 54 dollars.

That would be $49 per day, right? Will he drink enough to pay for itself? I probably would, but it would depend on the "shelf" of liquor included in that package!

You can get coffee/tea from room service, at the time of your choosing...just call them, or leave the door menu on the doorknob each evening!
