Fantasy: Best place for a M&M

John Heald has asked the cruise directors on each ship to provide a location for a Meet & Mingle for Cruise Critic members. If there is a sea day as the first full day of the cruise the M&M is typically around 3 PM in one of the lounges and is noted in the Fun Times, generally the 'Have a Great Day' tear off section.

For those voyages that are at a port of call on the first full day of the cruise the M&M is held on embarkation day at about 5 PM just after sail away. Once again, the M&M is listed in the Fun Times.

On a few ships the attendance has been very low to nil and the CDs have given up on the event.

We have a port day on our first full day....but we'd like to hold our Meet and Mingle on the first full sea day...which, in this case, will be our 2nd full day. Will Carnival still provide a room for us?

Need suggestions for a good place for an informal meet & greet on the Fantasy. I've been told that Carnival lists CC meet & greets in the Capers...who's been to one and what does it involve?

The title states M&M i thought it was about candy.....lol.....

Just in case the Cruise Director doesn't schedule you guys into the Capers you could always set your own up on your Roll Call thread. Its just an informal meeting of the CC folks, usually at a lounge or bar.

I have been to several on Carnival and generally have some nice conversations with fellow cruisers. A big open area like the pool bar usually works well. The first day after the life boat drill is always a safe time because it's before dinner and after everyone has boarded.

This is what we've thought about doing...does Carnival automatically schedule them or do we need to contact Carnival?

Is this automatically done by Carnival or do we need to contact them to set it up? If so, how do we contact them?

Thanks!
