eh2zed Posted September 7, 2011 #2 Share Posted September 7, 2011 Never heard of a cruise ship berthing anywhere in St. Petersburg except the industrial dock. In the other 3 centres there are options. Have you tried posting on the cElebrity board.
KirkNC Posted September 7, 2011 #3 Share Posted September 7, 2011 The best way to find out is to do a google search on each port. You can almost always find a cruise ship schedule with specfic docking information. Kirk

kaisatsu Posted September 9, 2011 #6 Share Posted September 9, 2011 Celebrity usually docks at Akershuskaia in downtown Oslo, but it's possible they may end up in another docking position. The Oslo port authority usually updates their annual cruise list around April or May, so you can check back then to find out for certain where your ship will be: http://www.oslohavn.no/english/home/cruise-list/

kruzgal Posted September 9, 2011 #8 Share Posted September 9, 2011 We have just come back from a trip on the Celebrity Eclipse. There is a new cruise ship dock in St Petersburg that opened a couple of years ago so we docked there, not in the industrial port as previously. In Stockholm we docked at Stadsgarden very near to the city centre, although I believe this can vary according to the water levels. In Copenhagen we were at the Langeline pier, walking distance from the city centre if you are fairly fit, or there is a public bus that runs right past. north-bound Posted September 12, 2011 #9 Share Posted September 12, 2011 There are several ports in Stockholm where a cruiseship may dock. And the same ship will not always dock in the same place. Now it is too early to find out where your ship has been booked, but the bookings for next season will appear at this site http://www.stockholmshamnar.se/en/. Remember that bookings may change, even at last minute, so it is always a good idea to check again just before you leave for your cruise.
