CasinoQueen Posted September 9, 2011 #1 Share Posted September 9, 2011 Hello Everyone I am interested in buying my husband some funship dollars for his birthday present. How do you order them? I can't seem to find them listed under gifts and services on Carnivals web site.

serene56 Posted September 9, 2011 #3 Share Posted September 9, 2011 It takes at least 7 days to receive them so order early enough. They used to come in heavy fancy carnival envelopes but I guess they got rid of them now.

Granny1 Posted September 9, 2011 #6 Share Posted September 9, 2011 You can have them applied directly as OBC then you won't have to take them and turn them in when you cruise..I have added a little each pay for my cruise in Oct.. If you want something for him to open make a cert for him but them show him how much OBC he has on his account..;) Have a great cruise..

toolgrl919 Posted September 9, 2011 #8 Share Posted September 9, 2011 Funship Dollars! The only time I actually have the certificate mailed is if i'm giving them to my boyfriend as a bday/xmas gift. Otherwise, if I'm ordering them while I have a cruise booked I have them directly applied as On Board Credit. I fill everything out as asked, except the address area. I put my Booking # in the address area & then put Apply As On Board Credit in the following address line. You'll get a confirmation email saying they got your order, then a few days later you'll get another one saying they are processing it. After a few more days you should be able to log into your account & see it under the billing section. :)
sjcruiser Posted September 9, 2011 #9 Share Posted September 9, 2011 You can add them directly to your account by putting your booking number into the address delivery fields, and they will appear on you folio in 24 hours or so. I print out the receipts once I order them, and take them onboard as proof, just in case something doesnt transfer to the ships system.
mela921 Posted September 9, 2011 #10 Share Posted September 9, 2011 I simply call carnival at 1-800-906-7603 and ask to purchase Funship dollars to add to my bookiong...you will need a cc and your booking number. They give you a transaction confirmation over the phone and the credit shows on your account( booking billing details) anywhere from 3-4 days

They give you a transaction confirmation over the phone and the credit shows on your account( booking billing details)anywhere from 3-4 days Yeppers...did the same thing on our Pride cruise this past July...they even asked if I wanted a card left in the room and what I wanted to have printed on the card....sort of a "surprise" way to let them know they had the OBX from us. Just an OBTW...if you were to do this within 15 days of the sailing ,even using a credit card, they have this insanely ridiculous process where you not only give them your credit card info, but they send you this authorization form they require you to fill out and fax back so they can charge your CC!!! It's freaken unbelieveable!! But it's what I got for waiting too long....never make that mistake again. But everything credited correctly, we gave OBC to a few of our kids that were cruising for the first time, but other than the crazy forms, it all worked out well, eveyone received their FunShip Dollars as OBC.
