sippican Posted September 12, 2011 #1 Share Posted September 12, 2011 I know this must have been addressed before, but guess I'm just not putting the right words in the search box. Is it okay to tip in USD onboard (for the "extras", we have already prepaid gratuities)? I am wondering if the staff has easy access to convert currencies. What have others done? mondas42 Posted September 12, 2011 #2 Share Posted September 12, 2011 All currencys on board are in US$, so tipping in $ will be fine
insulationbabe Posted September 12, 2011 #3 Share Posted September 12, 2011 We did US dollars as well - we did our own gratuities -all in dollars:)

oregand Posted September 12, 2011 #5 Share Posted September 12, 2011 Is it ok to tip in Euro's or do the staff prefer Dollar's? D
skippyy Posted September 12, 2011 #6 Share Posted September 12, 2011 Used rupees once, took just under 5 million to equal 1.85 in greenbacks. Sticking to US dollars now.
