Suite under the pool - legend of the seas

Recommended Posts

Hi we have a Grand suite booked for January - the suite is on the eighth floor under the pool area - will it be noisy? Should I change our ressie? Can someone out there help me with this. We will be on the Legend of the Seas.

On recent Splendour cruise, had GS 8508. Not really too much noise from the normal pool activities or movement of the lounge chairs. However, all along both sides of the windows, are tables and chairs. Seems everyone has to drag the chair away from the table to sit down. At times, it could be annoying.. if possible, would choose a cabin further back.....If not, it's probably something you could live with.....

Happy cruising....

We were in GS 8012 on a 14 day Panama Canal trip in Feb/05 and the only time we heard any noise was the day we were going through the locks and it really just sounded like somebody dragged a chair across the floor. You will love the GS!!!! Huge balcony and beautiful bathroom!! Also, they were updating the cabins while on our cruise. Any other questions just let me know.

zpood........You are going to love this ship!! They were constantly cleaning and updateing through our cruise. The size of the ship makes it very easy to find your way around and you would not be able to guess her age!!! We had only cruised NCL before and really loved it, but let me tell you the crew on this ship were the nicest and always smiling. We thought the food was great, but one thing we learned was to listen to the head waiter's suggestions, he was always right!!! Of course, anything you don't like they will be more than glad to bring you something else pronto!! Check out the guy doing the sing-a-long in the Schooner Bar, he is very good. The casino crew is also great!!! Won some $$$ , the most of any cruise we've been on. Tell them Nora from Alabama said hi. Also, remember that you can write in anything you want on the door hanger for breakfast(eggs benedict, etc) just make sure you write down everything you need....such as if you order pancakes or waffles make sure you put how many syrups you want because whatever you write down is what you get. Mumofsons......if Anna is your room steward tell her the Beck's said hi!!
