We have only cruised with Holland America Line. so this will be our 3rd cruise, but our first one with Princess. I have read a lot of information about Princess and the Sapphire. Any advice about Princess and the Sapphire is much appreciated. We have stops in Ensenada and 2 days in Cabo San Lucas. Any recommendations on what we should do there?

You may want to check your roll call for this cruise... Also, the Ports of Call section of these boards. They will provide valuable information. There is not much to do in Ensenada... In Cabo, there is Medano Beach, where you can do many activities... A water taxi will take you there for a very small fee.

We just got back from our Carnival cruise and we liked Ensenada. We did an excursion with Carnival (called City & Shopping Tour) that actually took us to the old hotel/casino hall (Riviera del Pacifico) for a tour of their beautiful grounds, then we went to a winery (Santo Tomas) for tastings and a tour of their equipment, and then we were taken to the downtown strip for an hour of shopping. It was a fantastic, quick, nice day! There is a wonderful cool breeze in Ensenada so we never felt hot like the other ports!

When we were on that strip shopping, by the way, we went to a little place called Margaritas that has open-air outside seating areas and I had the BEST 20 ounce margarita ever!! :D
