Upgrades still available for purchase at Port Everglades?

I went on a cruise last year at the Miami pier and the ship was soldout so we wound up paying through the nose 3 days before sailing to get an upgrade that became available last minute.

With only 1 really good balcony available we figured that we would not chance it and try for it at the pier.

 

This year I am travelling from Port everglades (Fort Lauderdale) and in my experience its a more desirable pier because you get in and on the ship quicker. Has anyone been able to get any upgrades at this pier lately?

Just curious. if so, what did they charge you? It used to be $400 per

cabin to upgrade

I believe that practice has pretty well gone the way of the dodo bird, as most ships sail full. Good luck.
