adrianypr Posted October 11, 2011 #1 Share Posted October 11, 2011 Hi, I'm a 26 year old female thinking of booking a studio cabin on the Epic to celebrate my birthday next year. Any suggestions or experiences welcomed. :)
elbodans Posted October 13, 2011 #2 Share Posted October 13, 2011 I have no suggestions or experiences--though I will have a solo cruising story AFTER next week, when I take my first cruise . But I do want to encourage you to go for it. That sounds like an amazing way to spend a birthday! And I'm sure you'll make lots of friends. I've heard that the lounge associated with the solo cabin area is a great hang out meeting place. I don't know if I'm allowed to post links here, but on the off chance that I am, check out this review of the Epic from a blogger friend of mine... http://solofriendly.com/norwegian-epic-studio-staterooms/
mrobstad Posted October 13, 2011 #3 Share Posted October 13, 2011 Hi, I'm a 26 year old female thinking of booking a studio cabin on the Epic to celebrate my birthday next year. Any suggestions or experiences welcomed. :) Go to studio lounge at 5:30 for happy hour. Pre-book shows for late seating. Go to the speciality restaurants--worth the price. Ask for a hairdryer if its not immediately discovered in your room. Enjoy!

Virtopia Posted October 15, 2011 #5 Share Posted October 15, 2011 I went on a cruise solo for my 28th birthday and although it was short, I had such a great time and ended up spending Labour Day weekend in Miami, so please go and enjoy yourself!
