Statendam SOE Upgrades

Does anyone know if there are any other SOE upgrades slated for the Statendam in the next 1-2 years? We are looking at the Hawaii/Tahiti cruise for Feb. 2013 but don't want to book this if the Retreat poolette is still in the works for this ship. Also, thinking about what type of cabin to book - outside or verandah. That decision relies on whether HAL is still planning to put in the Lanai cabins (reserved deck chairs mean less public chairs on that deck, in which case we would probably opt for a verandah cabin).

The Retreat poolette is off the drawing board. HAL eventually realized their mistake with this one.

Can't help you as far as the Lanai cabins goes.

I haven't heard anything about the Lanai cabins being added to the Statendam.

But anything could happen when HAL gets the whim to do something.

I'm sure you're right about that! Think we'll hold off on booking a cabin right now. Maybe we'll find out more about what the plans are for the Statendam.
