Marina Ocean View cabins

We have not "lived" in an Ocean View Stateroom, but thanks to the kindness of some very generous Cruise Critics, we've spent a lot of time being entertained in one.

In fact, aside from the new Owners Suites, which are now the size of Madonna's house in the Hamptons, we think that the Ocean View rooms are the biggest improvement yet, over the comparable rooms on the R ships. Those floor to ceiling windows make the room seem HUGE.

We stayed in an Oceanview cabin in June on our wonderful Baltic cruise and enjoyed it very much. We only experienced a noise problem one evening when Oceania had a jazz band playing where the piano is. (Our cabin was over Martini's piano bar, not the casino.) All was well when they stopped.
