Car service from port

Don't book a car service from the port unless you have a cell phone. There were no pay phones at peir 88 so asked someone in line for a cab to use his but he had to get in his cab before I could complete the call (thanks for letting me try) We walked up to 11ave and 48st to get away from all the people. There were 3 payphones there but couldn't get any of them to complete a call. Went into the Acura dealership and was able to make a call from there. Car showed up about 7min. Our flight didn't depart till 230 so we wern't in a hurry good thing cause this took us about 1 hour:)

Nothing like begging a cell phone call now that there are almost no pay phones. I've done it twice in Paris - interesting experience both times.

Ya tried to borrow a call from someone on 11ave but he would have nothing to do with it:) Don't know where he thought I was going to take off with his phone dragging our bags and two kids:)
