QM2 refit has already started

I sailed on the QM2 the cruise prior to the refit and was told the sofas in all of the standard staterooms were being replaced, or at least reupholstered. Can anyone confirm this. I have tried to find photos of the newly refurbished rooms but there is so little out there. Thanks.

 

They weren't replaced during the refit but as I understand it they are to be replaced during the World Cruise, or shortly thereafter.

I just don't understand why these things aren't more of a priority with Cunard. The old sofas really don't go with the new decor, even to my untrained eye.
