How close was your hotel from the ship?

Recommended Posts

Yet another vote for the Pan Pacific in Vancouver. I loved the fact that you called the bell boy the morning of your cruise and he took them to the ship for you. When you got on the elevator, there was a special button you pushed (I think it said, "CP" for cruise port), and it took you all the way down to where you check in to get on the ship. We too had a city view, so didn't see our ship from our room, however, one of our cruisemates was up and called us to come down and watch our ship come in. This was September of 09, and we were on Carnival Spirit to Hawaii . . . . 12 days of pure bliss!

This is the Sapphire Princess in Whittier, Alaska. This is from the train we took from Talkeetna to get there. While technically not a hotel, we did spend all day on the train! It was awesome to be able to get off the train and just walk across the street to board the ship.
