Super Bowl Cruise

Gonna be on the Majesty of the Seas for the Super Bowl in Feb 2012. Has anyone ever been on the Majesty for the Super Bowl? Do they have any special events?

Haven't been on the Majesty for Super Bowl but was on the Monarch a couple of years ago for Super Bowl. They only thing I remember them doing was hauling out a couple of extra TV's to show the game on in the Viking Crown lounge.

 

One thing to note is that they were showing the game on a feed that had no commercials so if you enjoy them you will probably have to wait til you get home and watch them on YouTube or your favorite website.

We were on a Holland America ship for the giants/pats super bowl. It was shown in the main entertainment lounge and like the previous poster, no commercials

Was on a cruise with RCI when Seattle lost to Pittsburg 5 years ago or so. They showed the game on a giant screen in the show theatre. They had a buffet set up with hotdogs and game time snacks.

We were on the Majesty for a Super Bowl cruise (my beloved Patriots lost :().

They had the game broadcast in the theatre via satellite. During timeouts/commercials when the satellite feed went blank, the cruise director and staff had give aways.

They had hot dogs/hamburgers buffet with beer bucket specials. We had a BLAST as did everyone that was there. People decorated their cabin door and wore team jerseys day before and day off game.

If you really want a good seat (there are some small tables w/ chairs instead of sitting in a row of seats, get there early)
