Captins suit question for the valor?

Would love to see some pics also (for comparison purposes). We stayed in 9200 (captain's suite) on the Liberty this past April based upon a review I saw here by Nezmo. Unbeleivable room abd best view on the ship. Very pricey though.

It was wonderful, Jim. See you in Galveston?

:)

Absolutely!!!!!!

Thought it was in jeopardy, we lost power for almost the entire state for 8 days with the autumn nor'easter that came up covered trees with leaves with 20 inches of snow and they took down 100's of miles of electrical lines.... DR plan enacted and not so fun times (no pun intended). 1,000's of electrical line people and tree crews came in from as far away as Canada and down south (even saw a couple of trucks with your fair state logo's on the side). Back to normal now and glad of it.

Jim,

They called and offered me an upgrade to the Captins suite on the Liberty for our upcoming curise. We currently have a Grand Suite booked and they said it would be $2,000.00 more (total) to uprade to the Captins suite?? Seems a little high?

Actually seems close to what we paid. These rooms (considered the Mickey room inside of CCL for Mickey Arison) are very pricey. I an send you pics of the room on the Liberty (think the Valor is pretty close, but have not seen any) if it helps. Like I said best view of any Carnival room, did not want to leave it.....

I have heard (did not happen for us) that they escort you to the room. As you board, someone will take you directly to the room. There is a cordless phone that will work anywhere on the ship. We are platinum, so we got laundry anyway, did not know about that.
