Is there a toddler splash area? Or a pool for the non-potty trained? How does this ship compare to carnival and royal caribbean? We've only cruised carnival and royal caribbean but now we have a 1 yr old who will be coming with us. We did royal Caribbean when he was 7 months old so it didn't matter if he could go in the pool. Thanks

No, there's no water area for children who are not potty trained. Swim diapers not allowed anywhere.

Have you cruised Star yet? We are going with our 20 month old on 12/25. Would love to hear about your experience. No pool, for swim diapers, read that a few months ago and was bummed. Did you do / are you doing an inflatable pool? Just thinking about that now.

If your child likes water, I'd bring the inflatable pool.
