I have not seen a $4 parking lot

We parked at Embassy suites near the airport it was less than $10 a day through a 3rd party site

I would also ask on the Florida forum

There is a thread on the Florida Board about this lot, but apparently the cost is FROM $4 per day.

It's the fine print that gets ya, every time.....

Not sure if this is the one the OP was asking about or not

Did not see any reviews yet though

Are there lots for short term parking for friends to drop us off for our cruise at the Miami port?

They would be able to drop you at the entrance without a problem or s on the parking garage side. It is just a drop off so not parking unless they park in the garage for a fee

They will not be allowed into the terminal if you mean for them to park & wait with you

There may be a lot, but the terminal that Oceania uses in Miami is nowhere that you would want to be with guests in tow.

There are no restaurants, no bars and limited seating of any kind. Also, the security check is just inside the door, and un-ticketed folks can't procede beyond there, anyway.

I'd suggest that you say goodbye while the porters collect your luggage from the car and let them go.

We live in Palm Beach County and when we fly out of Miami we use the Airport Fast Park. They are reliable and secure and they have covered parking at no additional charge. We also joined their club to receive discounts. It does run approx. $8 PD (before any discounts)-- but it is nice to come back and find your car. Someone years ago told me "if you want your car stolen, park it at the Miami airport" - ha!!! :p

We will be going on a TA out of the Port of Miami in June and we fly back into Miami --so we are going to park at Airport Fast Park and take a cab to the ship and the car will be right across the street when we fly back.

Below is the link to Park and Fly. It is right off of Lejune at the airport expressway. It is directly across the street from MIA.

Good luck and happy travels...:)

Thanks for the info, guys. That is what I thought, but our friend wanted to get his girlfriend as close as possible (she wouldn't join the cruise because she's afraid of water).

If I wanted to impress someone with the glamour of an Oceania Cruise, I'd avoid the terminal and its' crowds altogether and take her to lunch at the surprisingly inexpensive port view restaurant at the InterContinental Hotel. It is called the Water Cafe, and sits between the hotel pool and the port.

The views are incomparable, and you'll feel like you could almost reach out and touch the ship. :D

Great suggestion!

Looks like that would make a fantastic pre-cruise hotel.
