Boatyard Beach

I am travelling down to Barbados in 2 weeks and am wondering how the boatyard beach is. I was down there a year ago and went on the Jolly Roger party cruise which was a great time and heard a lot of people went to boatyard beach.. Is it a younger crowd or a party crowd. I am travelling with 3 other guys and we are in our mid-20's and looking for a beach to relax at, drink, listen to music and have some fun.

DW and I did Boatyard Beach last year. We had a good time, but happy hour is right around the time we have to go back to the ship. We had a great time there though. the tiki bar serves frozen drinks and the people were very friendly. Don't know if this is what we want to do this time around. I'm thinking about the Jolly Roger or another beach.
