aam3 Posted November 19, 2011 #1 Share Posted November 19, 2011 The CCL website recommends you book your earliest return flight departing after 2:30. The ship is supposed to arrive at 9, and I'm pretty sure last time we were off the ship before 10 am. Why would CCL recommend such a late return flight? We are looking at a flight that departs at 12:30. Is that do-able?
Rare Keith1010 Posted November 19, 2011 #2 Share Posted November 19, 2011 You may want to also post this on the Carnival Cruise Line Board. Keith
spookwife Posted November 20, 2011 #3 Share Posted November 20, 2011 pushing it. you do need to be at BWI 2 hours minimum before the flight is due to leave. security tends to be.. well.. long. better than National or Dulles, but still.. long. and if Customs decides that something is off, then you will not be getting off at 10. I am 20 minuets away from BWI and I give myself a LOT of time to get through security
DanJ Posted November 20, 2011 #4 Share Posted November 20, 2011 When we did the Pride, we weren't off the ship until noon. Some were off before 10, but I wouldn't want to count on it.
montekat Posted November 20, 2011 #5 Share Posted November 20, 2011 On our last Pride cruise, we were delayed due to weather on the return to Baltimore. We weren't off the ship until close to noon also. You may make the earlier flight, but I wouldn't count on it. Esp. as was noted above, security at BWI can be slow.
