Silhouette, breakfast room service

Just wondering if I can order things for breakfast that are not on the menu...(for example, boiled or scrambled eggs) or is this something only available to the C3 class? Considering booking a veranda for having breakfast there in the morning and want to know if the selection will be more than continental...

Thanks

I think those items would be on the regular room service menu. The Concierge Class has items such as fresh squeezed juice and fruit smoothies on it that are not available for no charge to lower stateroom categories, but there are hot breakfast items available even at lower categories. If you do a search, you should be able to find a copy of the menu. Also, if you write in a special request they will generally try to accommodate you, but the easier/plainer the special request the more likely it will be granted.

Some people may disagree, but all we can go on is our experience last August. We had problem with breakfast service (ie they never got it right!) and a few days I asked for decaf tea bags and wheetabix - knowing that they had both in the buffet. I received neither despite numerous requests. Not sure why.

Perhaps we should have asked our cabin steward ....

Just returned fron Silhouette our room was a regular balcony cabin...wide variety of items on Bkf room service menu (eggs, bacon, pancakes, french toast, danish, muffins, cerial, yogurt, juice, etc.,) we had no problems getting what we ordered but we did stick to the lots of options provided on the menu. Also nice lunch items also.

Thanks for the responses, esp... Happytocruise...that was what I wanted to hear?

Also, since you're just off the Silhouette, did you notice any "special" (2 for 1, or discounts) in any of the specialty restaurants? I am curious to try some of them, but they are pricey, some at $40 pp.
