Patsie47 Posted November 26, 2011 #1 Share Posted November 26, 2011 Hope this doesn't sound tacky - but - to eliminate another piece of actual luggage I want to use a nylon garment bag that folds in half. Is this possible or too tacky? We are driving to the port and my thinking is that we can then "scrunch" it into one of the suitcases for the return flight from Europe instead if having extra baggage to carry around. Any comments? Thanks in advance Pat
firefly333 Posted November 26, 2011 #2 Share Posted November 26, 2011 You can carry on as many carry ons as you want. Personally, I travel very light. I came with just a carry on for Oasis today when I arrived in Florida. If you feel you need it, bring it. I usually bring a backpack for my camera and such, but even left it and my larger purse at home this trip.
cb at sea Posted November 26, 2011 #3 Share Posted November 26, 2011 Since you're driving, bring whatever you like...there are no weight or number of bag restrictions! It's airlines that "restrict" you....not the ship! You could each bring a steamer trunk, if you like!
Patsie47 Posted November 26, 2011 Author #4 Share Posted November 26, 2011 Thanks for the replies. I was not concerned about the amount of luggage for the cruise but more concerned for the air trip home from Europe so I am trying to lighten the load:) Thanks Pat
Rare Keith1010 Posted November 26, 2011 #5 Share Posted November 26, 2011 Pat your approach is a good one. You can bring something that is collapsible. They make a number of bags that will work well. Look for a duffle bag. Keith
