So if the price of a suite is double the price of an inside and as a solo cruise I pay double and using that logic shouldn`t solo cruises get two points for each day sailed. I will have 110 points, and I am pleased NCL is acknowledging the loyalty of people who love longer cruises and/or pay for suites. I am sorry you are disappointed and feel ignored. Really though, you should look at Celebrity's Captains Club before complaining about lack of opportunity for advancement; their top tier is only 10 credits (which can be reached in as little as 4 cruises in a glorified balcony cabin). Airlines, hotels and casinos reward your patronization for your dedication to their product and reward you with perks that many others do not receive. It part of the loyalty game. Like frequent upgrades to first class on flights. Get them often? I guess not. With my interpretation of NCL's new "loyalty program", it is like taking a long slog up a steep mountain and when you get to the top you realize that everyone else took the elevator to the top. I’m not saying the perks I receive I don’t enjoy and look forward to but it’s not a show stopper. I’m still Gold and I’m ok with that. Giving people with a quarter of the points we have earned (based in this new system) the same recognition, makes that recognition meaningless and does not reward the loyalty of their most loyal passengers.
