Bustersmom Posted November 28, 2011 #1 Share Posted November 28, 2011 Gosh as we get so close I of course have a ton of questions, for each answer I am so grateful to receive, I will try my best to return the favor when we return. We have reserved a bungalow on princess cays. When we are on the tender over, how do we actually get to that area, I have no idea where it is in relation to where we are dropped off? Has anyone had experience with this and how was it? Thanks in advance as always! It has been over 6 yrs since we last were on a cruise so very much looking forward to the upcoming Grand!!! Rob & Beckys mom Posted November 28, 2011 #2 Share Posted November 28, 2011 I would go to the shore excursion desk and ask these questions. They are very helpful & will be able to direct you much better than I can :o. Have a wonderful cruise! Jan
MM1998 Posted November 28, 2011 #3 Share Posted November 28, 2011 Here is an excellent thread on Princess Cays. There is a section about the bungalos, you may be able to find what you are looking for. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=839368&highlight=do+you+need+money
FawnRiver Posted November 28, 2011 #4 Share Posted November 28, 2011 I believe that the bungalows are walking distance from the dock. We've never bothered with them, a clamshell is good enough for us. Enjoy the Grand - its on our wish list.
toeloop Posted November 28, 2011 #5 Share Posted November 28, 2011 there is a "tram" that will take you down to the bungalows.
capriccio Posted November 28, 2011 #6 Share Posted November 28, 2011 there is a "tram" that will take you down to the bungalows. We found it waiting at the beginning of the dock - you couldn't miss it. Have fun - we loved the bungalow and would do it again in a heartbeat. Bemidji Ty Posted November 28, 2011 #7 Share Posted November 28, 2011 It's very walkable.
caribill Posted November 28, 2011 #8 Share Posted November 28, 2011 From where the tenders dock at Princess Cays, the bugalows are to the left. You can either walk there (about five minutes along a sidewalk) or take the ride offered to those who have reserved a bungalow.
jdvmd Posted November 28, 2011 #9 Share Posted November 28, 2011 Last December on the Crown, our party went over to Princess Cay together. I had a letter from Shore Excursions that told me to check in once we got to the island. Did so and the staff member checked our name off. Told us to go wait for the tram. The driver took us to another spot (bar) where we checked in with the cabana coordinator/attendant.
