Immersive Wine Cruise Constellation

We are looking into the 12 night cruise in September 2012 from Southampton. Does anyone know what the Wine cruise involves? Is this a lot different than a regular cruise?

I'm not sure about this but I think basically they take you to ports that are known for their great wine, or have great wine making areas withing excursion distance, and then they don't let you bring any back on board to drink.:eek:

Hoping for a bit more information about this cruise. Celebrity's website gives nothing away, but before we booked I really would like to know what to expect.

We are booked on this cruise leaving October 1. Just a couple days ago they began putting up the shore excursions, which include several wine or spirits focused excursions and special trips (including a 3 day two night trip off the ship) at the different ports. They mention several "special, wine focused events" on board but don't really give you much specific info.

I have also read on some of the other threads here on the celebrity board that they sometimes allow you to bring back wines from ports in Europe for onboard consumption. We can hope that this will be one of those cruises!

It sounds so amazing! I think this has to be our next cruise. We love great wine, and I like being able to overnight in the different cities and have a really great experience.
