Thanks to the NCL and Shutterfly photobook offer I set up a Shutterfly account and uploaded some photos and made a book.

I've since uploaded more photos and made a couple more albums including one with a number of photos of Epic aft balcony 10318, stateroom, balcony and the secret stairs side viewing area next door. Is there a way to upload the photos to cruise critic from my Shutterfly account?

I have a mac on 10.6.8 snow leopard if that matters. Photos in my computer are in iphoto. I love seeing the posts with photos in them and would like to be able to do the same.

:)

Yes, you can insert Shutterfly pictures into your posts like this:

ry%3D400

To do it, go to your Shutterfly album.

Double-click on the picture you want to insert.

Right-click on the picture.

Click Properties.

From the Properties window, copy the Address (URL).

Now in your CC post, click the Insert Image icon (it looks like a mountain).

Paste in the URL you just copied and click OK.

I think you can only insert 5 pictures into a single post. If I have a lot of pictures, I usually share a link to the pictures instead.

To share a link:

Go to your Shutterfly album.

Select the pictures you want to share (you don't have to select them all)

Click the Share button at the top right-hand corner

Select Email Selected Pictures and click next.

Fill out the information.

I usually send the email to myself to get the link, then copy the link into my post.

Thanks for the instructions! I've learned 2 "new" things about CC in the past week. I'm printing these out for future reference.

I have tried this different times and haven't been successful. I'm curious if I have finally learned how to put a picture straight into my post.

Edit: Ack! it didn't work

Edit: Nope, I give up

This photo is mini suite on the Pearl with couch made up into bed. Four of us shared it on a two night to nowhere, cozy but it worked fine for just two nights.

  • 2 years later...

Thanks for the postings with step-by-step instructions!!! I've tried to figure it out to post photos in the past but couldn't.

I see that Shutterfly also has a website option that I'm going to check out. I use iWeb on my iMac but Apple hasn't supported iWeb for years.

Shutterfly looks like an easy option that's "current".
