girl993 Posted December 9, 2011 #1 Share Posted December 9, 2011 Hi All, I am considering booking a tour with Glory Tours that takes you to Harrisons Cave, Monkey area, and snorkeling/swimming with turtles. Being an photography nut, I will be bringing a couple cameras with me. I am concerned about leaving my expensive DSLR under the care of the tour guide, as I can't take it with me when I go snorkeling or visiting with the turtles. Any advice or someone who has used this tour company before and provide any assurance? Any feedback on this company would be greatly appreciated! Thanks :-)
Putterdude Posted December 13, 2011 #2 Share Posted December 13, 2011 We used Glory Tours a couple of years ago and have put together a tour with them for our roll call in January. I hold Sarah Taylor in high regard, that said your guide will lock the van/bus but that wont prevent someone from breaking into the vechicle....so I wouldn't take anything more than needed. Aplmac Posted December 15, 2011 #3 Share Posted December 15, 2011 On days like this, I find myself walking with nothing more than a good all-round tele zoom 18-105 mm. on the Nikon D60 body or even Her lil Coolpix S620 which can do amazing photos at the right settings when handled by a decent photographer like me and you... ;) And then there's Photoshop for minor corrections, when we get back home ___________________________ Would you believe it? My wife's a Jennifer too: this is not lookin good... :D .
