Valor or Liberty ??

looking to book another cruise for next year at this time. looking at either the valor or the liberty. kinda leaning towards the liberty since has the new 2.0. looking for any advice thanks alot.

Valor and Liberty are identical ships- except now the Liberty has the new enhancements

We've sailed both :) Yes, they are identical in layout - but the Liberty decor is a little more subtle - and the 2.0 updates are getting good reviews.

 

I'd go with Liberty!

All things being equal the liberty due to the upgrades but other than upgrades they are essentially same ship.

I was booked on the Freedom and just switched to the Liberty. The reviews on here are good about the 2.0 upgrades and I had to just see them for myself.

DH and I chose the Liberty because we discovered it is cheaper to fly on Friday than on Saturday! The 2.0 upgrades were just the "Cherry on Top";)

I would pick the Liberty simply because of the fact that it's the most recently refurbished of the ships. and it carries the new Fun Ship 2.0 enhancements like Guy's Burger Joint, the Red Frog Rum Bar, The Blue Iguana Tequila, The Alchemy bar, etc.

What are the 2.0 upgrades?

 

If you go to Carnival's website, there is a place on their homepage that you can click on that gives information about the 2.0 upgrades. I am so happy that the Liberty was chosen first. We had originally chosen the Valor (back in April) for the Western Caribbean itinerary (for next May), but then Carnival switched the itineraries for Valor and Liberty. I imagine we'll be hanging out at the Blue Iguana a good part of the time. Can't wait!
