Diabetics and non-alcohol beer

I am diabetic and cannot drink alcohol(conflicts with medication). I would like to bring non-alcoholic beer onto a RCCL ship in February, 2012.

Has anyone had any experience trying to bring non-alcoholic beer on board??

Thanks

Rick

Most "non-alcoholic" beer and wine do have a trace amount of alcohol in them. (Check the labels.) When I became a close friend of Bill W. years ago, I was advised not to drink them. I don't know if it is enough to cause an adverse effect to a diabetic, but there is some there.

pretty sure they sell odouls

I know. $4 per bottle

The carb count is high and so is sugar (i beleive). I would test 2 hours after trying some at home and see how it affects you before your cruise.

I do drink 1 or 2 a week. No noticeable effect.

Thanks

Rick
