For my own amuzement I take the chair hogs towels and blow my nose, or dry off ,or wipe my pits (or other parts.) When they come back with that bad ***? attitude and try to ruin my day, I get the last laugh. ;)

I just sit down on their towels and piss. After all, it's just a bathing suit, I'm wearing. ;) They come clean in the Jaccuzzi.

It was a joke Howdy Doody!

Lord have mercy when Ringo takes charge of this posse!

OK I guess I deserved that one! I thought you might be joking but just in case I gave you a response that I would have given a serious poster. There are actually people that think and do what you posted as a joke. I do have a sense of humor so yes I deserved the Howdy Doody!:D

I have a question, where do you wait the 30 min.

If you have a chair to wait at then problem solved.

I've never seen it where there are absolutely no chairs left , but I don't go during the PEAK times. I just can't imagine spending 30 min. of my vacation with a stop watch waiting to see if there is someone coming back to a particular chair

But thats just my take on things

Wait 30 minutes, then be the courteous person that you are and take said items to lost and found so they can be returned to their rightful owners.

Oh man, I sure hope I catch you in transit with MY property and you say to me "oh I'm just taking YOUR "items to lost and found.""

I once had to eat my meals thru a straw for 6 weeks. Trust me, it ain't nice.

Don't be dumb, ask a PB for assistance.

Ditto that question...

Why not sit in their chair and start your stopwatch then? If they show up before the 30 minutes is up, graciously give them their chair back. If not, then don't worry about it.

Somepeople here do a lot of talking, but before you start getting cocky and remove peoples belongings, you better be careful about who's stuff it is.

I have seen someone pretty pissed off and will throw your butt off the chair and on the ground.

Be prepared for a angry confrontation, and don't expect the security to stick up for you..

A watch on a cruise? A STOPWATCH yet??? What cruises have you been on for cryin' out loud?

Lighten up man, you're on a cruise, a vacation. So what? Go play bingo for awhile and come back later. Are you this uptight all the time?

I guess what I don't understand is, if you wanted the chair, why aren't you IN the chair? Someone else sitting at the bar for an hour notices that no one has occupied a chair that has a towel thrown over it, how bad does the owner of the towel need that chair if it's been unoccupied for an hour? Some people act like they are the only people on the ship. I don't get it. You're there with a whole bunch of other people, and if you aren't using it, let someone else.

Ummm... not uptight at all, thanks... ;)

I did not bring up the idea of a stopwatch... If you go back and reread the conversation, you'll see that I was responding to someone else who mentioned a stopwatch... By the way, I'm certain was not talking about a literal stopwatch, but a figurative one.

Obviously, none of us are using real stopwatches... but anyone who talks about waiting 30 minutes is doing something to tell time. That's all we're talking about here.

. Carnival needs to step up the chair hog remedy. I'd pay several more dollars per day if they would take the dude sweeping up fallen pickles and make him in charge of the 'chair waiting table'. 30 mins unoccupied = free chair. Pickle guy escorts you to your chair. Simple.

Amen.
