mkg Posted January 8, 2012 #1 Share Posted January 8, 2012 Can someone tell me what the price of beer is, along with the bucket of beer prices these days, and of course the yummy frozen drinks with tip included. I know this seems like an odd question, but just trying to keep up with inflation. Thanks so much
ryano Posted January 8, 2012 #2 Share Posted January 8, 2012 Here is a current drink menu from RCI that will give you a good idea about their cocktails and beer (you will need to add the 15% to these prices)..........not sure about the bucket prices. http://www.scribd.com/full/33759184?access_key=key-bkjmazztxk8nbrcj108

LOL, we are the oldies in this group, so we'll be just hanging by the pool with my frosty's. So, I need to know what I'll be spending. RYANO thanks for the link, very helpful, now I just need to know what a bucket of beer is.

You will not receive a discount when you purchase a bucket of beer, you want six, you pay for six :D ###
paper1122 Posted February 22, 2012 #8 Share Posted February 22, 2012 The prices seem pretty reasonable for a cruise, if my memory serves me correctly (which often times it does not) the prices seem a bit lower than Carnival.
sea_la_vie Posted February 22, 2012 #9 Share Posted February 22, 2012 Thank you for posting the drinks menu! A few questions, are those glasses with the RCI Logo souvenir glasses that we can keep? And are the DOD priced lower than on the menu! Thank you:)

To be honest, we were surprised last week on Liberty with the prices...definitely better than we expected. For the whole 5 night cruise (we had at least 1-2 drinks each night), our total for TWO people with tip was something like $140 or so. This is after we budgeted $40-$50 per person per day! princess5750 Posted February 22, 2012 #11 Share Posted February 22, 2012 How about Jagermesiter? My hubby and I are big fan of a few jag bombs on Friday nights! I see they have plenty of red bull...haha
ldeflavia Posted February 22, 2012 #12 Share Posted February 22, 2012 Thanks for the drink menu!!! Does anyone know if they charge less for a drink if it's made without the alcohol? I know my kids are going to want some of these and they are nowhere near the legal drinking age.
Dpeeps Posted February 22, 2012 #13 Share Posted February 22, 2012 Yes you can get the drinks for less $ made with out the alcohol...and the last page of the menu has drinks without alcohol. I didn't see the cocoloco on the menu? Or did I miss it? That is my fav!!:)
OklaCruiserMom Posted February 22, 2012 #14 Share Posted February 22, 2012 Ok, I'm kind of sad to admit this, but that link made me breathe heavy! I feel like a complete lush to be so much looking forward to some of those drinks! Sure, I could justify it by saying I almost never drink at home, but still...! Lemon Drop and Frozen Lemonade- Oh yeah! Come on, May 27!!!! :D

Turtle_lover Posted February 27, 2012 #16 Share Posted February 27, 2012 I will be cruising in three weeks, and would be glad to report the new prices I see, plus the possibility of a beer bucket. :D
SNJCruisers Posted March 3, 2012 #17 Share Posted March 3, 2012 The prices seem pretty reasonable for a cruise, if my memory serves me correctly (which often times it does not) the prices seem a bit lower than Carnival. The beer prices on the domestics are lower on RCCL because the link had 12 oz bottles and Carnival sells 16 oz aluminum bottles.

You present a valid point. I was more referring to the "fu-fu" drinks, however. But then again, once you start drinking them memory can become very.... "fuzzy". Memory becomes its "fuzziest" when you make your own beverage of choice in your cabin while you empty your rum runner.:D
