Tendering Ports, Platinum Question

There is a group of 11 going in 5 cabins, only 1 person in the group is platinum. My question is will the entire group of 11 be able to get priority tender services so we can all stay together?

Just put ALL 11 on the same S&S account as the Platinum then they are ALL priority.

 

Wish I had a Platinum to pay my way so I could get the perks without earning the perks.:eek:

It would be nice to have someone pay your S&S bill. BUT that would only get you VIP embark. NO other perks are extended.

If you all book an excursion on the boat and need priority tender. You all can go get a number that will get you off early.

...and according to our experience in Belize last october, the priority tendering is from the ship to shore, but not from shore back to the ship. We were told (by Carnival's own security agent checking ID's ashore) that there was NO return priority tendering, even though our PVP told us that there should've been.

But I have been reading the port of calls board and from t he recent postings I seen-- they dont do tender tickets any longer. I dont know how true that is and can only imagine the hundredS of people rushing that door as soon as its opened to get to the tender

As recently as November they were still doing tender tickets at least at Grand Cayman........someone said they weren't but I got out my funtimes from my last Conquest cruise and it clearly states that if you are not on a Carnival excursion you need to get a tender sticker until open tender is called.

Only once did we get priority boarding because we are all platinum. It was in Avalon. The Carnival gal pulls us out of line puts us in the front. It was embarrassing as there were only 16 in line at the time.

We are platinum and were told by John that we get priority tendering back to the ship and have taken advantage of that numerous times.

Platinum gets ashore earlier as-well-as those with early excursions. Just buy an early excursion, lol.

There is some controversy about this. John has said that it works both ways and the 5 or so times we did this never a problem.

 

Others have said security at ports say go back on the line.

 

Could just be a case where the left hand doesnt know what the right is doing.
