elainesj Posted January 13, 2012 #1 Share Posted January 13, 2012 I will be sailing on the Liberty of the Seas out of Fort Lauderdale in March 2012. When we debark, will we have to go through immigration on the ship early in the morning (what time??) before debarking with everyone else later? I've been researching through the threads and been getting some mixed messages.
jollyjones Posted January 14, 2012 #2 Share Posted January 14, 2012 Every time I have disembarked at Port Everglades (from Princess), I have gone through Immigration and Customs onshore - they divide US and non-US pax into two queues but that's the only distinction. elainesj Posted January 16, 2012 Author #3 Share Posted January 16, 2012 so no early morning immigrations line in the lounge before debarking? I LIKE the sound of that!
Langley Cruisers Posted January 16, 2012 #4 Share Posted January 16, 2012 so no early morning immigrations line in the lounge before debarking? I LIKE the sound of that! It varies with port and ship. We have been on 10 cruises together and DH (a Canadian) has had to go to early morning Immigration check on several of them. My advice is to not worry about it; it is what it is. :) .
