Herbaltees Posted January 19, 2012 #1 Share Posted January 19, 2012 Looking at some options for a Thanksgiving cruise. We would prefer to leave Wed or Thursday and return no later than Monday. Any opinions? Has anyone ever done that before? Did CCL do anything special for dinner?
kelzbelz77 Posted January 19, 2012 #2 Share Posted January 19, 2012 I did a Turkey cruise in 07 on the Freedom. I did not really like their Thanksgiving meal. As I recall, they had other things to eat besides the traditional Thanksgiving meal. Things could have changed by now. :D
admviking Posted October 26, 2012 #3 Share Posted October 26, 2012 I was on Royal Caribbean in 2008 for Thanksgiving, wasn't the best, but I'm going to give it another try this year aboard Carnival. Hopefully, it'll be a better experience...

Warm Breezes Posted October 26, 2012 #5 Share Posted October 26, 2012 Looking at some options for a Thanksgiving cruise. We would prefer to leave Wed or Thursday and return no later than Monday. Any opinions? Has anyone ever done that before? Did CCL do anything special for dinner? Our Destiny Cruise 2 years ago was a 4 day leaving on Thanksgiving Day and returned on Monday. I just looked and they have the same sailing this year. They did serve turkey at dinner. I did not get it as I am not a turkey fan. I just noticed that this is an old resurrected thread and you already booked the cruise I suggested....Have fun.
Dafell Posted October 26, 2012 #6 Share Posted October 26, 2012 We did Thanksgiving last year on the Imagination and like the other poster said, they have a traditional Thanksgiving meal as well as other options. I did not think the turkey and stuffing was bad (I tasted my daughters).
