Looking at some options for a Thanksgiving cruise. We would prefer to leave Wed or Thursday and return no later than Monday.

 

Any opinions? Has anyone ever done that before? Did CCL do anything special for dinner?

I did a Turkey cruise in 07 on the Freedom. I did not really like their Thanksgiving meal. As I recall, they had other things to eat besides the traditional Thanksgiving meal. Things could have changed by now. :D

I was on Royal Caribbean in 2008 for Thanksgiving, wasn't the best, but I'm going to give it another try this year aboard Carnival. Hopefully, it'll be a better experience...

eat in the buffet if you want real carved turkey. I once ordered the turkey dinner and it tasted like pressed meat to me.. I didnt like it much .. like the above poster.

Our Destiny Cruise 2 years ago was a 4 day leaving on Thanksgiving Day and returned on Monday. I just looked and they have the same sailing this year. They did serve turkey at dinner. I did not get it as I am not a turkey fan.

We did Thanksgiving last year on the Imagination and like the other poster said, they have a traditional Thanksgiving meal as well as other options. I did not think the turkey and stuffing was bad (I tasted my daughters).

We're doing 3-day post t'giving cruise (Friday to Monday). Wondering what the turkey left-overs will be like:rolleyes:;)
